The deadline is fast-approaching for Harness Horse Youth Foundation financial aid applications; all forms, videos, and related information must be submitted no later than 11:59 pm on May 31.
Scholarships administered by HHYF include:
Harold & Marcia Snyder Memorial Scholarship (sponsored by International Sound) – for students from harness racing families;
Curt Greene Memorial Scholarship – for students with a passion for harness racing;
Sweet Karen Memorial Scholarship – for students who have participated in one or more HHYF summer programs;
Lynn Fortna Memorial Financial Assistance – for young-at-heart females in harness racing who wish to further their education and/or expand their knowledge about horses.

Celebrating 50 years in 2026, HHYF has awarded and/or administered funds in excess of $1 million.
For 50 years, the Harness Horse Youth Foundation has been making a difference in young people’s lives; its programs include interactive learning experiences with racehorses as well as offering scholarships and creating and distributing educational materials relating to harness racing. HHYF is a charitable 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing young people and their families educational opportunities with harness horses in order to foster the next generation of participants and fans.
